Men, listen up.  One in 4 men over 50 will break a bone due to osteoporosis.

Bone Health Tips:

  •  Eat healthy and exercise.
  • If you smoke, don’t.
  • Limit alcohol to no more than 2 drinks per day.
  • Figure out when you should have a bone density test.
  • If you break a bone, ask if you could have osteoporosis.
  • If you have osteoporosis, ask about treatment options.

Calcium-Rich Foods for Bone Health:

  • Milk 8 oz.  300 mg
  • Yogurt, 6 oz.  300 mg
  • Chedddar cheese 1 oz.  205df
  • Broccoli, cooked 8 oz.  60 mg
