Juicy Pork Chops

My25 has given us their new Autumn Recipe Juicy Pork Chops.

This is a wonderful recipe that uses the apples that you have been gathering.

The warm and sweet taste is perfect to warm you up as the weather gets cold.

Serves: 4

QuantityIngredients
16 oz.Pork Loin, boneless, chops
1/2 tSalt, table
1/2 tBlack Pepper
1 TFlour, white, all purpose
1 TMargarine
1/4 CApple Juice

KEY: C=cup, t=teaspoon, T=tablespoon, oz=ounces, lb=pounds, sl=slice, ea=each, pkg=package
Cook proteins to (internal temp.)…Chicken & Turkey: 165, Ground Meats: 160, Beef: 145, Pork: 145, Fish/Shellfish: 145

Preparation

  1. Season both sides of the pork chops with the salt and pepper. Lightly dust the pork chops on both sides with the flour. 
  2. Melt the margarine in a nonstick pan over medium heat on the stove top. Add the pork to the pan and cook on both sides until lightly golden brown. Add the apple juice to the pan and bring to a boil. 
  3. Reduce the heat on the stove top to low, cover the pan with a lid, and simmer for about 7 to 8 minutes or until the pork chops have reached an internal temperature of at least 145 degrees.
